It had been a long day at work, and my colleague along with myself were standing near an outlet mall about 1am. It was time to go home, so my colleague booked a cab, which was just a few minutes away from the pickup point. Both were wearing backpacks, and I was carrying a narrow wooden box sealed in polythene that was a little weighty but which I was able to hold without difficulty like an exhausted toddler laying on my chest.

Since the cab was 5 minutes away, I was standing in the midst of an intersection, the wind breeze was odd and cold, forcing me to grasp the sample box firmly around my chest to avoid shivering myself. After a while, I began to tremble, feeling like a mother would make her toddler sleep by laying on her shoulder. My mind suddenly entered an overthinking notion, but this time a thought rediscovered me.

I imagined the narrow wooden box as a baby laying on my shoulder, and I couldn't help but smile. I began to envision a future in which my wife and I would attend a marriage function in a new city. We were waiting for the cab just like today. As my baby girl became tired, I placed her on my chest and ensured she was warm due to my body heat, hearing my heart beat, and my wife, who is witnessing this in person, is feeling satisfied and lucky in the middle of the night with her hubby and princess. then she walked forward and gripped me with an apparent emotional smirk on her cheeks. It became a day that both of us will remember forever.

Those minute little moments are what shape life in a valuable way, but we are drawn to the modern way of life. Yet, if you lack these kind of short moments merely staring at the screen, you should choose someone who has a similar mood to you. Don't choose the one for the pleasure of Instant gratification; instead, have a cause and purpose for staying together. The happiest couples are those who eat at home, spend time together cooking, and embrace love in the easiest way. No pair is gifting each other with play station, new sneakers and travelling to a foreign country every week. Those type of couples are brand influencers who provide content for money, that’s their life style and not ours. You see your parents happily married for 20+ years; they are the perfect example of a happy marriage.

Some calendar days will never be forgotten, but I'm fine with forgetting today's date because I prefer to recall the moment 12:58Am when I had this reviving vision in the middle of the dark, which is the title of this blog.

I hope you to have a similar experience sooner or later and feel the refreshment and true meaning of life, we feel secure as we carry a phone in our pocket, but true security is having someone to hear heartbeats by embracing you as a fear barrier.
