Normalise
Everything that's happening between good or bad, it's normal. Some people dramatise in a way to make you think that it's only happening for you. It's normal to lose a job, it's normal to bite your tongue when chewing, it's normal to hurt yourself in the gym, it's normal to fight with your partner, it's normal to be depressed at night, it's normal to lose money in business, it's normal to lose concentration when driving.
Similarly, there are lot more things in life which are normal in terms of happiness and grief. You get to experience that in your own significant way. Your life is different from others. The things that bring happiness to you may not be the same with others. As a society we need to normalise the trait of welcoming dissimilarities from people.
It's okay to have conflicts and misunderstanding in family and relationships. But it reaches the peak when a third person is added to solve the conflict. The third person pushes both in a comparison state, which sometimes may lead in a healthy way but for the most part it leads the victim to make jumbled decisions. You need to understand it's normal. It's not something that happens individually. It's something that half of the globe has experienced.
Next time when you talk to someone, Don't exaggerate, instead be calm and normalise them saying "It's okay to go through what you are suffering now, it's gonna be okay". That's the simple answer you can give, don't make them feel low or rise their temper by your designed advice.
In my opinion, the life you are living is designed by you. Don't allow the cursor to be controlled by others then it's hard to remove the additional lines they added up to your design. It's your life, you can design in the way you like. Designing your life is normal, there's nothing wrong with feeling guilty.
